PitchOverlay · Last updated 4 September 2026
PitchOverlay does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising, and it makes no network requests of its own.
Video clips you record or import, the ball positions detected in them, and the overlays you create are written only to PitchOverlay's private storage on your iPhone. Ball detection, clip alignment and video rendering all run locally on the device. Nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone else.
You can revoke either permission at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security. The app keeps working; the features needing that access stop.
PitchOverlay Pro is sold through Apple. Purchases, renewals, refunds and billing are handled entirely by Apple, and we never see your payment details. The app asks Apple whether a subscription is currently active in order to decide whether to apply a watermark; that check happens on your device.
Deleting an overlay in the app removes the rendered video and the clips it was made from. Deleting the app removes everything it stored, permanently.
PitchOverlay is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, at any age. There are no accounts, no advertising and no analytics in the app, so there is nothing for us to gather from a child or an adult.
Clips filmed with PitchOverlay often show young players. Those clips stay in the app's private storage on your device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. You are responsible for having permission to film and to share footage of anyone identifiable in it, which matters particularly when the person filmed is a minor.
